A Note About Termite Inspections
Quickly, we would like to address termite inspections.  It is a fairly common practice in Texas to have your home inspector set up the termite inspection for you.  Sometimes you pay the termite inspection company directly, and sometimes you pay the home inspector who then pays the termite company on your behalf.  Are you really comfortable hiring a company without researching them just because it was set up for you?  How about hiring them just because they are a friend or relative of the home inspector?  Could there possibly be any "kickbacks" involved?  Questionable deals such as these have happened before, and continue today.  That is why, at Ace Home Inspections, we think you should choose your service provider.  Take a moment to research them, get some referrals, and look them up on the web, until you find a company you are comfortable with.  It should be your choice.  If you request, Ace Home Inspections will give out referrals for termite inspection companies, there are many good ones out there.  However, it should be your responsibility to choose which company you want and schedule your appointment.  With you in charge of the decision there will be no questionable "back alley" dealings to worry about.  We hope that you can understand our stance on this issue.  Thank you.
